Orthodontic Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (OA/RDA)

Our warm, welcoming, and family-friendly orthodontic practice, with locations in Encino and Porter Ranch, CA, is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant (OA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time or part-time. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, dependable professional who is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
The ability to understand and communicate well with others is essential.
**5 years Orthodontic Dental Experience is required**
Schedule
Full-Time or Part-Time Available
- 4 days per week (schedule provided in advance)
- Monday–Friday
- 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

This position works between our two offices:
- Encino: 5363 Balboa Blvd., Suite 330, Encino, CA 91316
- Porter Ranch: 11200 Corbin Avenue, Porter Ranch, CA 91326
Compensation & Benefits

Qualifications
Required:
- Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
- Minimum 5 years of orthodontic experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred:
- Active California Orthodontic Assistant (OA) License
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the clinical team
- Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment
- Maintain inventory and ensure clinical supplies are fully stocked and organized
- Collaborate with the doctor and office manager to improve scheduling, patient flow, and office efficiency
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Take intraoral X-rays and clinical photographs
- Take dental impressions for retainers and other orthodontic appliances
- Bond braces
- Place Invisalign attachments
- Remove and replace wires, coil springs, O-rings, and elastic bands
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, orthodontic care, and post-treatment instructions
