Location: Grand Junction, CO

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4pm

Salary: $16-$20/hour depending on experience

Position Overview

We are a patient-centered Orthodontic practice committed to providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming, professional environment. We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The Orthodontic Assistant plays an important role in providing excellent patient care and supporting the orthodontist throughout treatment. This role involves assisting with procedures, preparing treatment areas, patient communication, sterilization, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

Job Requirements:

• Assist Dr. Jolley and Dr. Pitcher with all procedures.
• Provide patient care with efficiency and knowledge, ensuring patient comfort.
• Clean and sterilize instruments properly.
• Take proper care of all dental supplies in the office.
• Keep a sterile environment at all times.
• Know and understand patient education.
• Organize and provide proper storage for all supplies.
• Know and understand appliances and lab work.
• Keep supplies stocked at all chairs & cupboards.
• Properly and effectively operate Dolphin Management, Imaging, and Aquarium.
• Properly and effectively operate X-ray machines in each location.
• Complete beginning of day and end of day procedures as a team.
• Stock toothbrush kits and debond kits.
• Know and understand the proper care and maintenance of all dental equipment in the office.

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred
• Must be willing to travel to other Jolley Smiles locations as needed. 
• A positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient service
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy office
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to follow office standards and procedures consistently
• Previous dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required
