Estimated Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)

We are a thriving private orthodontic practice in Lodi looking for a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team! We provide top-tier mentorship and hands-on training for those new to the specialty.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic exams and treatments.
• Assist the Orthodontist during bondings, adjustments, and debondings.
• Take high-quality X-rays and digital impressions using iTero scanners.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, braces care, and aligner wear.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols.
• Document detailed treatment notes in orthodontic software.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California Dental Board Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Valid California X-ray certification.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in orthodontics is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care.
• Experienced candidates: Prior orthodontic chairside experience is highly valued.
• New candidates: A strong desire to learn and commit to long term growth with the practice; we are happy to train the right person!
