    Work Schedule: This is a part-time position, Fridays 8am - 4pm 

    At Precision Orthodontics, we are dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and providing exceptional orthodontic care to our patients. We believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment, and we are looking for a part-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team.

    Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant (RDA or OA) to support our orthodontic team part-time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience and assisting with various clinical procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, including placing and removing braces, applying archwires, and taking impressions.- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.- Educate patients on oral hygiene and care for orthodontic appliances.- Manage patient records, including taking and documenting medical histories and treatment records.- Ensure that the treatment area is clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary supplies.- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with the front office staff.- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with patients, families, and team members.

    Qualifications:

    - Current certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Orthodontic Assistant (OA).- Previous experience in an orthodontic practice preferred.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.- Basic knowledge of dental and orthodontic terminology and procedures.- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.- Proficient in utilizing dental software and technology.
