JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
-Previous experience as an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant with a strong foundation in dental and orthodontic knowledge.
-Familiarity with self-ligating brackets welcome.
-Communicating with patients regarding treatments and oral hygiene
-Charting of patient information
-Taking digital radiographs
-Intraoral 3D scans
-Assisting with orthodontic adjustments
-Preparing teeth for bonding and de-bonding
-Assisting in the placement and removal of appliances
-Sterilizing instruments and operatories
-Encouraging, educating, and motivating patients to follow the recommendations of the Doctor
-Fixed retainer fabrication and cementation
-Bracket/band set-up/placement
