Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant with prior dental experience who thrives in a fast-paced, structured clinical environment. In this role, you will work directly with doctors, support daily clinical operations, and help ensure patient safety, efficiency, and treatment accuracy.

Essential Functions

  • Perform sterilization procedures according to OSHA and clinical guidelines

  • Prepare accurate and organized tray setups for procedures

  • Obtain diagnostic records including X-rays, intraoral scans, photographs, and impressions

  • Provide chairside assistance under supervision of the treating doctor

  • Enter clear, accurate clinical notes in patient charts

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care

  • Perform basic lab duties including fabrication of Essix retainers

  • Prepare and document lab cases to ensure timely turnaround

  • Maintain operatory readiness and cleanliness at all times

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 6 months dental experience

  • Experience taking dental X-rays

  • Understanding of dental terminology and procedures

  • Strong attendance and reliability

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred:

  • Orthodontic experience

  • State-required dental assistant licensure (if applicable)

  • Experience with digital scanning technology

  • Proficiency in dental software systems

Work Schedule

We operate in a patient-centered model. Many of our patients are children and working adults, so peak demand occurs after school, after work, and on some Saturdays.

Work Hours: Full Time including some Saturdays  Local travel between offices may be required.

Compensation

Starting at $22.00 per hour. Final offer based on experience and qualifications.
