Braces of Burleson is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and team-oriented Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Whether you're an experienced Orthodontic Assistant or a Dental Assistant looking to grow your orthodontic career, we encourage you to apply.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Enjoy every other Friday OFF!
What You'll Do:
- Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment.
- Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and provide excellent chairside care.
- Take digital X-rays and orthodontic records (when certified).
- Change archwires, ligatures, and other orthodontic appliances as permitted by Florida/Texas regulations (adjust for your state requirements).
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms.
- Ensure accurate patient documentation.
- Deliver an outstanding patient experience from start to finish.
- Travel between nearby office locations as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dental Assistant experience required; orthodontic experience is preferred.
- Current Dental Assistant credentials as required by the State of Texas.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between office locations.
