Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Compensation: $20 – $24 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 6–9 days per month
Parker Orthodontics is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time, as-needed basis to help cover schedule gaps. This role is ideal for a local orthodontic assistant who wants flexible work while staying clinically active in a respected orthodontic practice.

Responsibilities:You will be responsible for the following:
Assist with orthodontic procedures including braces, adjustments, and appliances
Provide efficient chairside support in a busy orthodontic setting
Prepare operatories and maintain clinical readiness
Take X-rays, photos, and digital records as needed
Support patient comfort and education
Jump in seamlessly to support coverage needs
You will be required to possess the following:
Active Washington State dental assistant license required
Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred
Comfortable working independently in a clinical orthodontic environment
Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
Strong communication and chairside skills
Ability to travel to Yakima when needed (preferred)
