Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Location: Geneva, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time

Ideal Candidate
Must be a graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Program.
Must possess a current New York State NP or PA License (or be eligible for licensure).
Must possess National Certification (NCCPA for PA or applicable NP Board Certification).
Must possess or be eligible for a DEA License.
Must hold current BLS and ACLS Certifications.
Experience in Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Surgical Services is preferred.
Experience with fracture care, musculoskeletal evaluations, splinting, casting, joint injections, pre-operative and post-operative care is highly desirable.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills are required.

The Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) will work collaboratively with Orthopaedic Surgeons and the clinical care team to provide comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions in both clinic and surgical settings.
The provider will evaluate patients, diagnose and treat orthopaedic conditions, assist with surgical procedures, provide pre- and post-operative care, perform office procedures, interpret diagnostic studies, educate patients, and maintain accurate medical documentation while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies.
Assist Orthopaedic Surgeons during surgical procedures.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

Perform office procedures including:
Joint injections
Splinting
Casting

Educate patients regarding treatment plans, recovery, and injury prevention.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited NP or PA Program.
Current or eligible New York State NP/PA License.
National Certification (NCCPA for PA or applicable NP Certification).
DEA License (or eligibility).
Current BLS Certification.
Current ACLS Certification.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
