ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY – SPORTS MEDICINE

Novant Health seeks a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Spine to join a state-of-the-art practice in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina.  The orthopedic service line consists of general orthopedics, sports medicine, foot and ankle, joint replacement, and spine surgeons. In addition, the practice will be on the campus of our new Novant Health Greenville Hospital.

We offer a balance of clinic and procedure time with a typical schedule of 3 days in clinic and 2 days of procedures. Our provider teams are committed to excellence in disease prevention, disease management and services to our patients while striving to better serve the needs of the community through open access and patient-centered care.

What We're Looking For:

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency program required
  • Fellowship training in Spine Surgery required

Licensure / Certification

  • Current MD or DO license (or eligibility) in South Carolina
  • Board certified or board eligible (ABMS)
  • Current DEA and South Carolina Controlled Substance registration

What You'll Do:
  • Provide comprehensive orthopaedic spine care in both clinic and procedural settings
  • Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions related to the spine
  • Perform surgical procedures consistent with specialty training
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, and foot & ankle specialists
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care focused on outcomes and access
  • Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Participate in building and growing a new and expanding service line
