- Experience: Prior orthopedic surgery experience, familiarity with trauma and fractures
Pay & Benefits- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hr

What You’ll Do- Provide general orthopedic trauma care, including fracture stabilization and closed reductions
- Perform up to 2 surgeries per day, such as wrist, ankle, and hip fractures or I&D procedures
- Manage consultations and notify ED for patient admissions as needed
- Participate in after-hours call coverage, with a cap of 4 gratis hours
- Stabilize long bone trauma for transfer when necessary
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in hospital systems
- Maintain adherence to hospital policies and ensure timely care delivery
What You Need
Required:
- Valid North Carolina Medical License
- NC DEA registration with NC address
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Vaccinated against COVID-19
- Ability to provide NPI# in application
Preferred:
- Experience with trauma surgery and emergency orthopedic procedures
- Willingness to stay within 20 minutes of hospital during on-call hours
