What You’ll Do
  • Provide general orthopedic trauma care, including fracture stabilization and closed reductions
  • Perform up to 2 surgeries per day, such as wrist, ankle, and hip fractures or I&D procedures
  • Manage consultations and notify ED for patient admissions as needed
  • Participate in after-hours call coverage, with a cap of 4 gratis hours
  • Stabilize long bone trauma for transfer when necessary
  • Document patient care accurately and promptly in hospital systems
  • Maintain adherence to hospital policies and ensure timely care delivery

What You Need
Required:
  • Valid North Carolina Medical License
  • NC DEA registration with NC address
  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ability to provide NPI# in application

Preferred:
  • Experience with trauma surgery and emergency orthopedic procedures
  • Willingness to stay within 20 minutes of hospital during on-call hours
