What You'll Do:
- Provide general orthopaedic surgical care including management of wrist, ankle, and hip fractures
- Perform closed reductions and admit patients to the ED
- Conduct 0-3 consults and 0-2 surgeries daily, including trauma stabilization and transfers
- Collaborate with hospital staff on patient care and treatment plans
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including vaccination and onsite participation during call shifts
- Respond promptly to on-call emergencies within a 20-minute radius of the hospital
What You Need:
- NC medical license and NC DEA registration
- Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Active Medicaid/Medicare provider enrollment with PECOS
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant orthopaedic surgery experience
- Ability to work 24-hour call shifts and manage trauma cases
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
