What You’ll Do

• Provide general orthopedic surgical services including wrist, ankle, and hip fracture management
• Conduct consults and assess patients in a hospital setting
• Perform minor surgeries and assist with closed reductions and admissions
• Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency department for trauma cases
• Stabilize long bone trauma and transfer patients when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety throughout procedures

What You Need

• Active North Carolina Medical License and NC DEA (with NC address)
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Vaccination as per hospital policy
• Ability to work within 20 minutes of the hospital on call
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic trauma, fractures, and patient assessments

This position is with a leading hospital in Clinton, North Carolina, focused on general orthopedic trauma and fracture management. The facility provides a professional, supportive environment with comfortable onsite accommodations—including cable and Wi-Fi—and aims to deliver exceptional patient care through a well-coordinated team. Travel expenses are capped at $500, and providers are expected to work long hours with a capped number of gratis hours per shift.
