Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Orthopaedic surgeon will join a division of Sports Medicine or Shoulder Surgery completing nearly 1500 surgeries per year, committed to highest quality outcomes. In collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will establish a residency program, led by our Department Chair, Dr. Ranjan Gupta, in conjunction with a newly created Orthopaedic Center of excellence at CHI Health.
Everyday, you will provide clinic alnd academic excellence with resources for additional opportunities including the opportunity to conduct research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine
The Sports Medicine Division is a busy part of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery integrating medical students and undergraduates in a rich teaching environment.
To be sucessful in this role, you will be board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with clinical experience in Movement Injury pathology with a focus on Sports surgery. In addition, the candidate should have a strong academic interest with a desire to educate and participate in research.

Required:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery
Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
Strong clinical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to adults and families
