License/Certs: Active MI medical license, MI CDS, MI DEA; ABOS Board Certified
Experience: Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, general ortho and joint experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
Pay rate: $1.00/hour (note: typical pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do
Provide orthopaedic surgical coverage specifically for trauma and general orthopedics, including fracture and sports injury management
Handle emergency call duties, responding only when requested by ED, with no spine cases involved
Participate in on-call coverage on a rotating basis, providing consults as needed
Manage patient cases efficiently in a fully digital radiology environment
Collaborate with orthopaedic PAs and a comprehensive surgical team
Support wound care clinics managed by general surgeons
Deliver high-quality patient care in a Level III trauma facility
What You Need
Active Michigan medical license, MI CDS, and MI DEA accreditation
ABOS Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery (must have active certification)
Experience in Total Joints and general orthopedics preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
