Full-Time Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon - Jefferson Health Northeast

Jefferson Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery to join our growing, high-volume trauma program at Jefferson Health Northeast.

This full-time opportunity is based at a Level II Trauma Center and offers a strong operative volume, dedicated OR access, resident support, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative academic environment. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across orthopaedics, trauma, anesthesia, and critical care.

Position Highlights

• Dedicated trauma and block OR time Monday–Friday
• Approximately 320 operative cases annually
• Postoperative clinic and resident support
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary trauma environment
• Support from an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program
• Opportunities to teach and mentor residents and medical students
• Academic appointment and research opportunities through Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery
• 2–3 years of experience preferred
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research
