Overview:
- Outpatient practice with nearby ambulatory surgical centers
- No call schedule - enjoy a better work-life balance
- High volume of referrals every month
- Collaborative care team including Interventional Pain Management Physicians, Spine Surgeons, and Orthopedic Specialists
- Support staff includes NP/PAs, MAs, and scribes
- Surgical assist guaranteed
- Travel between San Antonio and Austin as needed
Responsibilities:
- Treat conditions affecting:
- Total knees, hips, and shoulders
- Hands, feet, and general extremities
- Perform surgical procedures for extremity injuries and deformities
- Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide non-surgical care: medications, injections, and physical therapy
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Extremity Surgery
- Active Texas medical license
- Minimum 1 year of surgical experience
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Monday-Friday schedule availability
