Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days | Day Shift

Location: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon)

Compensation: $140K - $142.5K+ per year


Our firm is seeking a dynamic and community-oriented Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a supportive, provider-centric Sports Medicine clinic in rural Eastern Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an established team of three full-time Physicians and two Allied Health Professionals where collaboration and peer support are the top priorities. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive orthopedic physical exams and patient assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries
  • Perform clinical procedures including joint injections, aspirations, and splinting/casting
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and MRIs
  • Develop and manage non-surgical treatment plans and post-operative recovery protocols
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and allied health staff for coordinated patient care
  • Provide patient education regarding injury prevention and rehabilitation
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation 


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (required)
  • Current NP or PA licensure (required)
  • 1-2 years of experience as a NP/PA (required)
  • Board certification or board eligibility (required)
  • Comfort with and interest in practicing in a rural community setting


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ($140,000-$142,500)
  • Quality incentives up to $12.5K
