SummaryJob Description:Full Time 40 weekly hours, day shiftJob Summary:The Orthopedic Program Coordinator provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Orthopedic Service Line Program. The coordinator is responsible for supporting clinical staff and physicians with the management of the orthopedic patient population through the continuum of care. The coordinator assists with program development, managing the accreditation process and ensuring continuous compliance with the Joint Commission Orthopedic certification requirements. This requires maintaining applicable policies and procedures, staff education, data collection, quality improvement efforts and patient education.Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job by listing the major components for this position (i.e., key responsibilities and essential duties). Assumes a leadership role in orthopedic program development in facilitating change to enhance delivery of services and to develop evidence-based practice.3. Analyzes and interprets data that facilitates clinical practice patterns, actively participates in areas for process improvement, and implementation of solutions that positively influence patient outcomes.4. Participates in clinical research and evidence based practice.Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:Current KY License in Nursing (RN)Bachelor''s Degree in Nursing required.
