    Orthopedic Surgeon


    Austin, Texas


    Currently seeking a licensed Orthopedic Surgeon to join a group in Texas: Austin is a preference but open to Dallas, then San Antonio. A friendly, growth-oriented healthcare group serving communities throughout Texas. This role specializes in helping patients recover from injuries, including those sustained in auto accidents, by combining advanced treatment options with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

    Responsibilities of the Orthopedic Surgeon

    • Work a Monday through Friday schedule during regular business hours with no hospital call.

    • Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and musculoskeletal assessments with an emphasis on evidence-based clinical care.

    • Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including fractures, joint issues, and degenerative bone diseases.

    • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment and care plans tailored to patient needs and recovery goals.

    • Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date medical records, ensuring timely completion of notes and charting.

    • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, radiologists, and specialty physicians.

    • Provide clear, compassionate communication with patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans.

    • Educate patients on their orthopedic conditions, recovery expectations, preventive care, and rehabilitation options.


    Requirements of the Orthopedic Surgeon

    • Actively licensed physician in good standing in the State of Texas.

    • Current BLS certification, board certification, and DEA certification.

    • 2+ years of practice experience is preferred, but not required.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Verbal and written Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.

    • Efficient time management in a busy clinic setting.

    • Full adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations and ethical considerations of the practice of medicine.
