Overview
Our client is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon to join a provider-friendly, outpatient-focused model treating patients with occupational and motor vehicle-related injuries. This permanent role emphasizes non-operative care and supports a strong work-life balance with no call and no weekend requirements.

The physician will rotate between multiple clinic locations within the region and manage primarily upper and lower extremity cases. Spine surgeons are not being considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
• Focus on upper and lower extremity cases
• Provide non-operative orthopedic care
• Prepare patients for return to work following illness or injury
• Recommend diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment
• Rotate between outpatient clinic locations within the region
• Uphold the organization’s mission to provide exceptional patient care
• Lead in a manner aligned with organizational ESG goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Experience treating upper and lower extremity conditions
• Openness to non-operative cases
• Spine surgeons will not be considered
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where work will be performed
• Favorable malpractice history
• DEA license
• Basic Life Support and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and staff
• Strong patient management skills
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and supervise staff
• Ability to meet physical job demands, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Certifications/Licensure

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Unrestricted state medical license
• DEA license
• BLS and/or ACLS certification
