Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine to join our newly expanding orthopedic service line. This is a unique opportunity to be part of building a high-growth, physician-led musculoskeletal program with a focus on arthroscopy, joint preservation, and comprehensive sports care.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of orthopedics at Tryon, working within a collaborative, outpatient-focused model supported by a strong and growing primary care referral network.

Position Highlights
Focus on sports-related injuries of the shoulder, knee, and hip
Arthroscopic procedures including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, and meniscal surgery
Opportunity to develop relationships with local schools, athletic programs, and community organizations
Ability to build a balanced practice of surgical and non-operative sports medicine
Collaborative care environment with primary care, physical therapy, and specialty colleagues
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Surgical Care
Evaluate and manage a wide range of sports-related orthopedic conditions
Perform arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures
Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating operative and non-operative care
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on outcomes and return to activity
Program Development & Growth
Contribute to the growth and development of the sports medicine service line
Establish referral pathways and community relationships to build patient volume
Participate in strategic planning for expansion of orthopedic services and ASC utilization
Collaboration & Care Coordination
Partner closely with primary care physicians and rehabilitation teams
Coordinate pre- and post-operative care to optimize patient outcomes
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Sports Medicine required
Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
Interest in program development and practice growth preferred
