Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full-time BE/BC fellowship trained Orthopedic Total Joints Surgeon, to join Baylor Scott & White - Temple location

Position Highlights:

Responsibilities include patient care, resident and medical student education, research, and administrative duties

Faculty appointment with the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine commensurate with experience

Multi-specialty employed group of 20 fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons

Busy Level I Trauma Center with free-standing McLane Childrens Hospital

EOS imaging

4 resident/yr; Total Joints APP support

Guaranteed salary with potential to transition to the survey-based compensation plan after the first year

About Baylor Scott & White McLane Childrens Medical Center

Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center is a 64-bed full-service childrens hospital with 48 medical/surgical rooms and 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms. The hospital has a 24-hour pediatric emergency department, a Level II Trauma center, and an advanced diagnostic imaging center. The hospital offers a pediatric residency training program to prepare the next generation of competent, and caring physicians.

Qualifications

Doctorate Degree in Medicine

Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialtyor demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialtiesor the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
