Focused ontrauma surgery, you'll leverage your expertise as either aNurse PractitionerorPhysician Assistantto ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is perfect for ahighly motivated healthcare professionalseeking an impactful position within anorthopedic surgical team.
Every day you willdrive inpatient orthopedic care, spanningpreoperative, perioperative, and postoperative phases. You will providecritical first assist supportin the operating room and manage24-hour first call rotationsamongst your peer PAs, ensuring rapid response for orthopedic emergencies. Your responsibilities will also includeinterdisciplinary roundingwith medical and trauma teams,ER patient consultationsfor accurate diagnosis and referrals, and theinterpretation of diagnostic teststo guide patient care plans.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundation inorthopedic trauma, demonstrating proficiency inmedication administration,physical therapy prescriptions, and actively participating inquality assurance and improvement initiatives. Your ability tocollaborate effectivelywithin amultidisciplinary healthcare teamand providepatient-centered carewill be essential.
