Job Description:

A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join an established and collaborative surgical team. This role offers the ability to practice within a Level II Trauma environment while working alongside experienced orthopedic specialists and a fellowship-trained trauma surgeon. The position provides a balanced mix of trauma and general orthopedic care, supported by a strong multidisciplinary team and modern facilities, including a new outpatient clinic located near the emergency department and operating rooms.

Shift / Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Flexible schedule
  • Block OR time (4 out of 5 weekdays)
  • Participation in occasional Level II trauma call

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic and trauma surgical care
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
  • Perform trauma-related surgical procedures and assist with general orthopedic cases as needed
  • Participate in trauma call coverage on a rotational basis
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, podiatry, plastics, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Work closely with advanced practice providers and surgical support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma (preferred or required based on experience)
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
  • DEA certification
  • Comfort with Level II trauma call responsibilities
  • Strong clinical, surgical, and teamwork skills
