About the Clinician's WorkdayThe nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma surgery coverage with day shifts from 6am to 2pm on weekdays and 24-hour call shifts on weekends. Responsibilities include managing Level 1 trauma cases with OR coverage, ICU rounding, hospital rounding, overnight call coverage, and post-operative visits. The clinician will provide ED support, consultations, and post-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients with an average daily volume of 20 patients.
