For nearly 40 years, Advanced Bone & Joint has been a trusted leader in orthopedic care throughout the St. Charles County. We are seeking compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our growing Orthopedic Urgent Care team.
This is an exciting opportunity to practice orthopedic medicine in a collaborative environment alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons and providers. You'll care for patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries while working at the top of your license, developing advanced procedural skills, and making an immediate impact on patients' recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, sprains, strains, sports injuries, and work-related injuries.
- Obtain comprehensive patient histories, perform focused orthopedic examinations, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and communicate imaging studies and other diagnostic tests.
- Perform procedures within scope of practice, including splinting, casting, bracing, wound care, fracture management, joint aspirations, and injections.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, recovery expectations, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary team members to provide seamless patient care.
- Identify patients requiring escalation of care or surgical consultation.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
- National certification and eligibility to practice in the state of Missouri.
- Previous experience in orthopedics, urgent care, emergency medicine, sports medicine, or a related specialty preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
- Comfortable practicing independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary orthopedic team.
- Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Schedule
We are currently hiring two full-time Advanced Practice Providers.
- Combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts
- Rotation between our three clinic locations
- Shared evening and Saturday coverage as part of a collaborative team schedule
