Complete Orthopedic Services Inc. is looking for a skilled and compassionate Orthotic Fitter to join our team in East Meadow, NY, Flushing, NY, Bronx, NY. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and fit patients with custom and prefabricated orthotic devices based on physician prescriptions
• Measure, fabricate, and modify orthoses to ensure proper fit, function, and patient comfort
• Educate patients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of orthotic devices
• Document patient assessments, fittings, and follow-up care accurately in patient records
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain inventory of orthotic supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
• Ensure compliance with insurance billing requirements and obtain necessary authorizations

Requirements:

• ABC or BOC certification as an Orthotic Fitter (OTR/L or CFo preferred)
• Prior experience in orthotics fitting, durable medical equipment (DME), or a related healthcare field
• Strong knowledge of lower and upper extremity orthoses, bracing, and support devices
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret physician prescriptions and clinical documentation
• Familiarity with insurance billing, coding, and prior authorization processes
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care
