Lead Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO)

Our client, a well-established and highly respected Orthotics & Prosthetics provider, is seeking a Lead Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join and help lead a brand-new free-standing clinic location in Central Louisiana. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinician who wants to practice in a modern, patient-focused environment while helping shape the growth of a new location backed by an established organization.
You will work alongside an experienced and collaborative team that includes a certified fitter, skilled technician, and supportive front office staff. The clinic offers a strong mix of orthotic and prosthetic care, including pediatric cases, in a thoughtfully designed facility featuring a large in-house lab with advanced dust and fume mitigation systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic evaluations, fittings, adjustments, and follow-up care
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving patient mobility and functional outcomes
- Lead and mentor clinical staff, residents, fitters, and technicians
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and referral partners to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with ABC accreditation standards, payer guidelines, and clinical documentation requirements
- Support clinic growth through referral development, relationship building, and community outreach initiatives
- Monitor patient satisfaction and clinical quality outcomes
- Assist with clinic workflow optimization, scheduling coordination, and operational efficiency
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and continuing education activities
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and complete charting in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) credential through ABC or BOC required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical O&P experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with pediatric, neurological, and/or complex prosthetic cases preferred
- Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team culture
