Position Overview
Aquila is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OSP Designer with expertise in ArcGIS Pro to join our dynamic team. This is a primarily remote position but we are looking for candidates near Batesville, IN to facilitate occasional in-person training and fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, design, and draft OSP fiber optic networks using ArcGIS Pro.
Generate as-builts from field data captured by construction personnel.
Collaborate with internal teams to create detailed plans, layouts, and schematics.
Analyze and interpret field data to ensure accurate design implementation.
Support field activities as needed, ensuring seamless integration of designs into realworld applications.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and reports for projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS software is highly preferred.
Experience with OSP design and telecommunications infrastructure.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Discipline to produce and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally (10% average) for training and field-related activities.
