We are seeking multiple experienced Outside Plant (OSP) Engineers to support the planning, design, construction, and delivery of fiber optic network infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) engineering expertise, project management capabilities, and a proven track record of successfully delivering telecommunications network deployments on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and engineer FTTH network infrastructure, including feeder, distribution, and drop fiber networks.
  • Develop construction-ready OSP designs, route plans, splice schematics, and permitting packages.
  • Manage multiple fiber network deployment projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, utility companies, and local jurisdictions to support project execution.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
  • Review engineering drawings and construction documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Support permitting, easement acquisition, right-of-way coordination, and utility pole attachment processes.
  • Conduct virtual reviews of field assessments and site survey data to validate network designs and identify construction challenges.
  • Monitor contractor performance, construction progress, and quality assurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with GIS, network planning, construction, and operations teams to optimize network expansion strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable safety regulations, engineering standards, and telecommunications industry requirements.
  • Prepare project status reports, forecasts, and executive-level updates.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or a related technical field;equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of OSP engineering experience within the telecommunications industry.
  • 3+ years of hands-on FTTH network design and deployment experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience overseeing fiber infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of OSP construction methods, fiber optic network architecture, and telecommunications engineering principles.
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of permitting, right-of-way processes, utility coordination, and pole attachment applications.
  • Proficiency with GIS, CAD, or telecommunications design software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Availability to work standard Pacific Time Zone business hours.
  • Note: Flexibility and a willingness to step outside of the defined role at times is essential in this position.
