OSP Engineering Manager$80000 - $100000 per year | Charlotte, NC | On‑Site | PermanentOur company is seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced OSP Engineering Manager to lead our Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team. This position requires a unique individual with a background in Quality Assurance, FTTH, FTTB, Telecommunications, and OSP Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of OSP engineering, ensuring quality assurance, leading a high‑performing team, and managing deployment, compliance, budgets, and project timelines.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of OSP engineering, including design, construction, and maintenance of our outside plant network.Ensure quality assurance and control in all OSP engineering projects.Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of OSP engineers.Manage the deployment of FTTH and FTTB networks.Collaborate with other departments to integrate OSP engineering activities.Develop and implement strategic plans to improve OSP engineering efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local telecommunications regulations.Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.Provide technical expertise and guidance in the resolution of complex OSP engineering issues.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in OSP engineering, with a focus on FTTH and FTTB networks.Proven experience in managing a team of engineers and delivering projects on time and within budget.Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles and practices.Excellent understanding of telecommunications regulations and standards.Strong technical skills and ability to solve complex OSP engineering problems.Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels.Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in computer software applications, including CAD and GIS.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
