Location: Canton, GA / Greater Atlanta Market
Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 Base Salary

About the Opportunity
Broadstaff is recruiting an
Operations Manager for a rapidly growing telecommunications and fiber construction organization serving customers throughout the Southeast.
This is an opportunity for a proven fiber construction leader to take ownership of a business unit responsible for Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) construction operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who understands field execution, project profitability, customer relationships, crew management, and telecom construction delivery.

What You'll Do
- Lead daily OSP and ISP fiber construction operations
- Manage field supervisors, construction crews, and project teams
- Drive safety, quality, production, and profitability objectives
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor business unit financial performance
- Develop and track operational KPIs
- Support customer relationships and project delivery commitments
- Coordinate project planning, execution, and closeout activities
- Identify operational improvements and implement best practices
- Ensure data accuracy and operational reporting standards
- Participate in workforce development, training, and performance management
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 3+ years of operations, construction, or field leadership experience within telecommunications or utility construction
- Experience managing fiber optic construction projects
- Experience leading remote field personnel and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of OSP construction practices
- Experience with project schedules, production metrics, and financial accountability
- Working knowledge of telecom construction safety standards
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Experience
- Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH)
- Broadband network construction
- ISP/MDU/MxU deployments
- Underground and aerial construction
- Utility or telecom contractor experience
- Previous responsibility for P&L or business unit performance
Highly Preferred
One of the current openings requires experience with:
- Copper networks
- Twisted-pair telecommunications infrastructure
- Windstream, CenturyLink/Lumen, or similar legacy telecom environments
