What Youll Do
- Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders
- Administer therapeutic procedures to support patient recovery
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care outcomes
- Document patient progress using EPIC and maintain accurate records
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and in-service education
- Assist in training and mentoring students after your first year of service
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including proper scrub color (navy blue)
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana Physical Therapy license
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
- EPIC electronic record system experience
- Ability to work daytime hours with good communication skills
Preferred:
- Pediatric rehabilitation experience (if applicable)
- Previous acute care hospital experience
