What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders
  • Administer therapeutic procedures to support patient recovery
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care outcomes
  • Document patient progress using EPIC and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and in-service education
  • Assist in training and mentoring students after your first year of service
  • Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including proper scrub color (navy blue)

What You Need
Required:
  • Valid Louisiana Physical Therapy license
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
  • EPIC electronic record system experience
  • Ability to work daytime hours with good communication skills

Preferred:
  • Pediatric rehabilitation experience (if applicable)
  • Previous acute care hospital experience
