Description
Role: OT DBA
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months but will go for 2 years plus
Purpose:
Manage database operations supporting ECM/xECM and related systems, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and integrity across all program environments.
Responsibilities:
Design and manage database schemas, indexes, data storage strategies, and backup/restore procedures.
Optimize performance for large volumes of metadata, permissions, and audit logs.
Support DR planning, HA architecture, and resilience testing.
Provide performance metrics during migration, integration testing, and load testing.
Partner with architects and developers to optimize queries and troubleshoot issues.
Required Skills/Experience:
RDBMS administration; performance tuning; HA/DR design; large content repository support; secure database practices.
Success Measures:
Stable and performant databases; successful DR and failover tests; no data integrity issues; readiness for cutover under full workload.
