Abouttherole:

We are looking for an OT Deployment Engineer to join our Global Operational Technology (OT) team supporting APM Terminals across the Americas. In this role, you will serve as the technical expert within deployment projects, helping implement, integrate, test, and support operational technology solutions in live terminal environments. Working closely with OT Project Managers, Deployment Leads,operationsteams,andexternalvendors,youwillplayakeyroleinadvancingoperationalexcellencethroughthesuccessfuldeploymentofscalabletechnologysolutionsthatimproveterminalperformanceandoperationalefficiency.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Leadonsitetechnicaldeploymentactivitiesfromsitepreparationthroughinstallation,commissioning,testing,andgo-livesupport.
  • SupporttheintegrationofOTproductswithterminalassets,systems,andoperationalprocesses.
  • Collect,review,maintain,andimprovetechnicaldocumentationfordeploymentprojects.
  • Coordinatewithsuppliers,contractors,andvendorstooverseetechnicalsiteactivities.
  • Monitorprojectrisks,technicalissues,andopportunities,providingtimelyupdatestoprojectleadership.
  • CollaboratewithOperations,QA,andProductteamstoaligntesting,implementation,anddeploymentmilestones.
  • Supportterminalteamsthroughtraining,knowledgetransfer,onboarding,andpost-deploymentstabilizationactivities.

Werecognizethatexperiencecomesinmanyforms.Ifyoudon’tmeeteveryqualification,westillencourageyoutoapply.

  • Engineeringdegreerequired;qualificationsrelatedtoporttechnologyareanadvantage.
  • Experiencedeployingindustrialtechnologysolutionsinvolvingcontrolsystems,instrumentation,oroperationaltechnologyenvironments.
  • Abilitytodesign,implement,test,andintegrateoperationaltechnologysystemsandinfrastructure.
  • Strongprojectexperiencewiththeabilitytomanagetechnicalactivitiesacrossmultipledisciplines.
  • Experiencewithinports,containerterminals,transportation,logistics,distributioncenters,orindustrialenvironmentsispreferred.
  • Strongproblem-solvingskillswithastructured,hands-onapproachtoresolvingcomplextechnicalchallenges.
  • Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithdiversestakeholders,vendors,contractors,andcross-functionalteams.

TravelExpectations:FrequentdomesticandinternationaltravelthroughouttheAmericas,withregularsitevisitsandoccasionalfutureassignmentsinotherregions.

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000*

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
