Job Description
We are seeking an OTC Collections Analyst to join our Order to Cash team supporting a large media client in Louisville. The ideal candidate will have experience across Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing and a proven ability to manage high-volume portfolios, resolve discrepancies, and deliver accurate reporting in Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Manage local TV Ad Sales collections portfolio ranging from $10M-$125M across large and mid-size agencies.
- Execute collection outreach, timely follow-ups, and maintain accurate records to drive on-time payments and reduce aged receivables.
- Identify, manage, and resolve high-volume customer discrepancies in coordination with Ad Sales and stakeholders.
- Analyze and report on KPIs including cash targets, aging, DSO, and percent overdue; prepare cash forecasts and periodic reports.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including OTC hubs and Controllership, to address payment delays, credit holds, and month-end close needs.
- Support cash application reconciliations and provide audit-ready explanations of outstanding AR balances.
- Prepare discrepancy reports for Sales Management and provide immediate escalation on adverse payment trends.
- Contribute to month-end close activities and apply cash during critical periods; embrace technology and AI-enabled process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 0-3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability with formulas, VLOOKUPs, charts, and pivots.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Analytical and problem-solving capability with attention to organization and deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced, transforming environment as a dependable team player with integrity.
Preferred Skills:
- ERP or financial systems exposure such as SAP or Oracle.
- Media industry and collections experience.
- Bilingual Spanish.
- General knowledge of accounting principles.
Role Context & Team Environment
This role supports a high-volume enterprise environment managing hundreds of line items across invoices at station and advertiser levels. The team of four collaborates across multiple sites and may partner with teams in South America. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability amid organizational transformation.
