Job Description

We are seeking an OTC Collections Analyst to join our Order to Cash team supporting Ad Sales Linear Networks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts receivable, collections, and advanced Excel and a proven ability to manage high-volume portfolios, resolve discrepancies, and drive cash collections to target.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an Ad Sales Linear Network collections portfolio of approximately $175M and translate discrepancy resolution into cash.
  • Proactively collect aged receivables via email and phone and document all customer contacts and follow-ups.
  • Investigate and resolve customer discrepancies in partnership with Ad Sales, CSRs, and stakeholders.
  • Meet individual cash collection targets and KPIs such as Aging, DSO, and percent overdue.
  • Provide periodic cash forecast projections and prepare routine management reports.
  • Lead or participate in aging reviews with senior leadership and recommend actions such as account holds and payment plans.
  • Support customer ad-hoc requests including statements, invoice copies, backup documentation, and account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate during month-end close with NY and Buenos Aires teams, including cash application activities.
  • Ensure AR ledgers are accurately maintained and provide audit-ready backup for AR balances.
  • Escalate changes in customer payment trends and advise Credit on accounts with financial difficulties.
  • Prepare linear refund requests, cash packages, discrepancy reports, and monthly aging reports; run and analyze portfolio reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis; proficiency in Word.
  • Strong communication skills across oral, written, and interpersonal contexts.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large data volumes.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and operate amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong work ethic, integrity, and organizational skills; self-motivated and adaptable.
  • Experience working within enterprise environments and across multiple ERP systems preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Collections experience and prior work in media, advertising, or cable industries.
  • Language proficiency beyond English.

Role Logistics

  • Work Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM ET, onsite.

Performance Measurements

  • Percentage reduction of overall A/R and discrepancies.
  • Achievement of established monthly cash goals and quarterly 90+ targets.
  • DSO improvement and accuracy of cash forecasts and reporting.
