Oracle Transportation Management Lead / Architect Illinois Naperville Onsite Salary - $110K / Subcon rate - $65 /hr Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing transportation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business value. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement transportation management solutions using Oracle Transportation Management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead the architecture and design of OTM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct system integration and testing to ensure seamless functionality of OTM solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation management projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to transportation management and OTM.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for end users and stakeholders.
• Document architectural designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.

Mandatory Skills:

• Extensive experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is a deal breaker.
• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics processes.
• Proven experience in solution architecture and design.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
• Experience with system integration and data migration.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other Oracle Cloud applications.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Experience in supply chain management and optimization.
• Certifications related to Oracle Transportation Management or solution architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on transportation management.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
