About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support OTR operations based in Dallas, TX. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: 70 hours per week, 2 weeks out, 3 days home time
- Pay: $0.62 per mile, increasing based on experience
- Per diem: $35 per night
- Tarp pay: $50 per tarp
- Detention and breakdown pay: $25 per hour after the first hour and a half
Job Details
- Route Type: OTR to Midwest
- Freight / Load Type: Roofing and construction materials
- Equipment: New Mack Anthem, Flatbed trailer, Automatic transmissions
- Handling: Tarping and strapping
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on OTR routes
- Transport roofing and construction materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including tarping and strapping
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience (recent graduates accepted)
- Endorsements: None required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
