Barr-Nunn Transportation is Now Hiring OTR CDL-A Truck Drivers!
Earn $85,000 - $95,000 per Year - Earn 65 - 74 CPM
$2,450 - $3,775 1st Check Transition Bonus*
- This is an OTR position only - No local or regional runs available
- Minimum 8 months of OTR experience in the last 24 months
- No terminations in the past 12 months
OTR Route Information:
- Route type: OTR only
- Home time: Run for 21 days, then home for 7 days
- Freight: 100% no-touch freight, full dry van truckload
- Job type: Solo, Company
- Pay: Earn $85,000 - $95,000 per year
- CPM: Earn 65 - 74 - based on experience & endorsements
- 1st check transition bonus: earn up to $3,775 (transition bonus + orientation pay + PTO on your first payday*)
Paid Flights Home:
For this position, you must park the truck at one of our terminals, and Barr-Nunn will pay to fly you home and back, or if preferred, reimburse you for your fuel home and back from our Columbus terminal, for drivers living east of I-35

OTR Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 8 months of OTR experience in the last 24 months - including snow & ice driving in major cities experience
- No terminations in the past 12 months
- No DWIs in the past 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screens, & human performance evaluation
- No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years

Barr-Nunn Transportation, Inc. was founded in 1982 by Bob Sturgeon. Today, we operate a fleet of around 550 tractors and over 1,800 53' dry van trailers. We offer full truckload, dry van services, with an emphasis on safety and time sensitive deliveries to customers primarily in the eastern half of the U.S. We have several locations throughout our operating area.
