Brief Description of Work:
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Out of School Time Counselor at the (Caldcleugh Recreation Center). The Out of School Time Counselor is responsible for overall day-to-day group programming, discipline, direct supervision, and management of children in the After-School and Summer Camp Programs. Must be able to relate to school-age children (ages 5-12), and conduct age-appropriate organized activities.

The selected applicant must possess great communication skills to ensure the highest level of customer service, have knowledge of safe work practices, ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and have the ability to be trained in RecTrac (recreational software). The physical requirements of the job include but are not limited to: walking, standing, sitting for extended times, jogging, running and jumping for the purpose of instructing/leading recreation programs, lifting up to 30lbs. and operating assigned equipment and vehicles as needed.
The Job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.
