Job Description:
- Outage Coordinators
- The typical job duties that the Outage Coordinators may provide include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide planning and coordination support for outages required for projects within the Capital Portfolio.
- Participates in constructability reviews with the project team
- Collaborate with Transmission Maintenance, Transmission Projects, Electric Operations, Control Centers (i.e. CONVEX, ESCC, etc.), System Operations Center (SOC), Vegetation Management, generators, and others as appropriate.
- Leading/supporting Capital Portfolio Monthly Outage Coordination Meetings.
- Attends Single Contingency Load Loss (SCLL) committee meetings and resolves committee concerns that may impact project outage requests.
- Develop and maintain outage sequence plan diagrams and schedules.
- Track progress of outage review and approvals.
- Provide timely and regular (e.g., weekly) outage schedule/status updates to Project Managers and Construction Representatives.
- Support the project team to align project schedules and scope with outage plans.
- Attend meetings and/or field visits as requested by project teams.
- Provide Outage Coordination with all post outage closeout notifications.
- The Outage Planners will require access to iTOA and DCR and will not create or submit outage/permit requests in iTOA or DCR systems without successful completion of appropriate trainings or demonstration of understanding of policies and procedures, specifically, switching and tagging procedures.
- 20+ years of experience.
