The Outbound Inventory Planner is responsible for managing the outbound flow of goods from the warehouse to customers, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery. This role oversees order management, inventory allocation, transportation and logistics planning, warehouse coordination, documentation, and performance tracking. Order Management
Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with customer service, sales, and warehouse teams to resolve order issues.
Inventory & Allocation
Monitor inventory levels and allocate stock to meet customer demand and service levels.
Collaborate with planning and warehouse teams to optimize inventory usage.
Transportation & Logistics Planning
Plan and schedule outbound shipments in coordination with carriers and logistics providers.
Optimize transportation routes and modes to balance cost and service.
Warehouse & Distribution Coordination
Work closely with warehouse operations to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping.
Coordinate distribution activities to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all outbound shipments are accompanied by accurate documentation (e.g., BOLs, packing lists).
Maintain compliance with shipping regulations, customer requirements, and internal policies.
Performance Tracking
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and transportation costs.
Generate reports and provide insights to improve outbound processes and service levels.
Must be 21 years or older
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in outbound logistics, transportation planning, or distribution operations.
Strong understanding of order fulfillment, inventory management, and transportation systems.
Proficiency in ERP systems, logistics software, and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Competitive Salary: $45,000- $50,000
Vacation days: 10 vacation days per calendar year, increasing by one additional per year after the second year (max 20 and prorated based on commence date)
Sick/personal days: 5 paid sick /personal days per year.
