Description Leo is Amazon's Low Earth Orbit satellite broadband network. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping/Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for working with a variety of stakeholders to coordinate outbound shipments to both domestic and international locations, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, robust communication skills, and a keen eye for process improvement to drive our team's success in meeting service level agreements and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Key job responsibilities Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements Handle and pack sensitive shipments daily on tight delivery timelines Communicate important information to various stakeholders while managing tight timelines to ensure an on-time delivery Accurately label dangerous goods for domestic and international shipments Maintain quality control and accuracy on shipping metrics Coordinate and improve upon current outbound shipping processes Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usage Monitor and prioritize urgent requests and high-priority tasks Collaborate with cross-competent teams on process improvements Ensure proper metrics tracking and record-keeping Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain operational efficiency Basic Qualifications - high school diploma or equivalent - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams - Can lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances - Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position - Standing up to 8 hours a day - Ability to work flexible shift assignments, including overtime and weekends as required, in a high tempo operation environment Preferred Qualifications - 1+ years of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices experience - Experience with JIRA and SAP/ERP systems - Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing fields - Forklift certified and experience with other handling equipment - Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency - Familiar with Import and Export requirements Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
