Outbound Picker / QA Checker
Pay: $19.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
Assignment Length: 3–4 months
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:30 PM, or until work is completed
Shift Length: Approximately 10–12 hours
 
Join Our Warehouse Operations Team!
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Outbound Picker / QA Checker to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for accurately picking and checking customer orders, preparing products for shipment, and supporting quality and inventory processes.
 
This is a physically active position that requires extended periods of standing and walking, frequent lifting, and the ability to work in a refrigerated environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, check, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure orders and products meet required standards.
  • Support GMP-related activities, including relabeling, repacking, product inspections, and aggregated serialization.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to complete assigned tasks.
  • Palletize products and prepare orders for outbound shipment.
  • Receive, stock, replenish, and rotate warehouse inventory.
  • Verify received merchandise against documentation and reported discrepancies or visible damage.
  • Perform inventory counts and research discrepancies as needed.
  • Process product and merchandise returns to the appropriate warehouse location.
  • Perform down stacking and other general warehouse activities.
  • Use rolling carts, Klever Cutters, tape guns, and other approved warehouse equipment.
  • Complete daily cleaning and maintain a safe, organized work area.
  • Follow all company policies, GMP requirements, safety procedures, and applicable DEA regulations.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Assist with physical inventory and other warehouse duties as assigned.
 
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to lift approximately 40–75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a 10–12-hour shift.
  • Ability to frequently reach, bend, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment of approximately 24°F.
  • Employees will rotate in and out of the refrigerated area every few hours.
  • Required PPE for refrigerated areas will be provided by the worksite.
  • Must be able to work overtime when business needs require.
 
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, distribution center, order picking, quality checking, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to use an RF scanner or willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand English for comparing product descriptions, product names, instructions, and shelf labels.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and use sound judgment.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
