The Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining strong relationships, and promoting the company’s products and services. This position involves a deep understanding of the market, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities by developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve Syracuse Banana Wholesale's business goals.
- Negotiate and close deals that meet or exceed sales targets.
- Drive sustainable growth through strategic account acquisition and optimized pricing strategies.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Establish KPIs and report to sales and executive teams.
Sales Strategy Implementation
- Work with the Sales Director to establish short- and long-term objectives.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives by identifying customers’ needs and offering solutions.
- Monitor, analyze, and report growth goals.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience selling food products.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Excellent ability to manage and build relationships
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals
- Advanced skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating
- Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in ProducePro is highly desired
