Pay Rate: 16.00an hour
Outdoor Orientation Date: May 2nd, June 13th, and August 8th
Must be able to work all outdoor shows (06/26, 06/27, 07/03, 08/15, & 08/21, with more dates to be confirmed)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Number seats and tear down after shows including cleaning chairs, picking up trash, etc.
- Take tickets and interact with guests entering and exiting shows
- Answer guests' questions related to the event, the property and/or its amenities
- Monitor guests to ensure event rules/regulations are followed
- Be familiar with Venue Emergency Evacuation Procedure, and be able to assist and direct guests as needed.
- Notify guests of policies; and alert security as needed
- Greet guests and provide usher services within venue sections to ensure guests are seated in the correct location represented on their ticket.
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification- Required:
- 1 year hospitality or guest service experience
Skills- Required:
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to work fast and efficiently
- Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to walk and / or stand for periods of 8+ hours

- Must have the ability to independently lift up to 15 pounds routinely
- Must be able to stack removable chairs
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed primarily in concert venues (outdoors)
- Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions
- Occasionally overtime may be required
- Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
- High volume direct public contact
