Outdoor Forklift Material Handler

• Previous forklift experience is preferred (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) 
• Warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience is highly preferred.  
• Experience with order picking and packing using paper pick tickets is a plus.  
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat.  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift.  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate inventory handling.  
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.  
• Basic math and reading skills for order verification. 
• Must have a consistent work history  

PPE Requirements 

• Steel toe or composite safety boots 
• Jeans or pants. NO shorts, sweats, or joggers, or yoga pants 
• Hard hat 
• Eye protection 
• High viz vest will be provided 

Work Environment  

• Primarily outdoor yard environment.  
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and forklift operation.  
• Exposure seasonal weather conditions, including high temperatures.  
• Fast-paced distribution setting with an emphasis on safety and accuracy. 

Employment Type & Compensation 

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire  
• Compensation: $18.00 per hour

• Operate a standard sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and stage palletized materials.  
• Pick and pack customer orders by hand from open pallets using paper pick tickets.  
• Transport full pallets of inventory throughout the yard and prepare shipments for delivery.  
• Load palletized materials into enclosed trailers and customer vehicles.  
• Verify inventory quantities and ensure accurate order fulfillment.  
• Organize and maintain inventory within the outdoor storage yard.  
• Inspect forklifts before each shift and report equipment issues promptly.  
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.  
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper material handling practices.  
• Assist with general warehouse and yard duties as assigned. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
