Outdoor Grill Cook - 8AM - 5PM (Immediate Start)

Job Summary:
The Outdoor Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food on outdoor grills while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in an outdoor environment, manage multiple orders, and ensure a clean and organized grilling station.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and grill meats, seafood, vegetables, and other menu items according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Set up, operate, and maintain outdoor grills and cooking equipment.
• Monitor food quality, cooking times, and presentation standards.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grilling area throughout the shift.
• Restock food, seasonings, utensils, and supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely food preparation.
• Monitor grill temperatures and fuel levels to ensure consistent cooking performance.
• Assist with food preparation, cleanup, and other kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a grill cook or line cook preferred.
• Knowledge of grilling techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, including heat and varying temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience operating gas grills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor cooking station.
• Exposure to heat, smoke, and changing weather conditions.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and frequent movement throughout the shift.
